Biological Control
I was awarded the CABI development Bursary, which enabled me to travel around Malaysia for three weeks with Dom from Tmax productions. Together we captured footage and photographs, visited CABI’s projects and interviewed farmers and scientists.
My purpose out there was to create a film about the positive effects of Biological Control. I had noticed how we avoided using the term Biological Control in our press outputs because it has some infamous unsuccessful examples, and is sometimes confused with something dangerous. I wanted to make a film to explain to journalists and other audiences what Biological Control actually is and how it is something to be celebrated.
I used my photos and quotes from this trip on other collateral for CABI as well. The display stand created from my images below were exhibited at three regional consultations around the world raising awareness about Invasive Species. The cover photos on the home page of this website are all taken from my trip to Malaysia.
